Service Description

Note Neko is a personal diary and relationship management application. It allows you to write diary entries, which are processed by AI to automatically extract and organize mentions of people and places you interact with.

User Accounts

You must create an account to use Note Neko. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must provide accurate information when creating your account and must not share your login credentials with others.

User Content

You retain full ownership of all content you create in Note Neko, including diary entries, people profiles, and any other data you input.

By using our service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for the purpose of providing the service to you. We will not share, sell, or use your content for any other purpose.

You are solely responsible for the content you create. You agree not to use the service to store illegal, harmful, or infringing content.

AI Processing

Note Neko uses AI language models to process your diary entries and extract information about people and places. By using this feature, you acknowledge that:

• Your diary text is sent to third-party AI providers (via OpenRouter) for processing.
• AI-generated extractions may not always be accurate. You should review and correct any AI-extracted information.
• Your data is not used to train AI models.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' data or our systems.
• Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
• Use the service for any illegal purpose or to violate any laws.
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the service without our permission.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the service, except where permitted by applicable open-source licenses.

Service Availability

We strive to keep Note Neko available at all times, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, updates, or circumstances beyond our control.

Limitation of Liability

Note Neko is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time. Upon termination, your data will be permanently deleted from our systems.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of any material changes. Your continued use of the service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which the service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
